Onboarding

The onboarding of the first batch of summer interns for FY2023 took place on April 10th at Adobe's PTP office. We were given a comprehensive introduction to the company, including a tour of the facilities and an opportunity to meet key personnels ,to training on specific tasks or projects. This was the first corporate experience for most of us. Additionally, there was a video conference connection with interns from Noida. 

The Onboarding Program was not solely focused on formal activities. We also had a fun activity session, fostering a positive and engaging atmosphere. Later there was a session from Employee Relations and Compliance (ERC) team which, provided information about the company's policies. Followed by a financial orientation session. Overall, the onboarding experience provided us with a well-rounded introduction to Adobe.

ACS All hands

"ACS All Hands" is a quarterly meeting held at Adobe where employees gather to review the business and wins of the quarter, recognize and reward the employees, and also set priorities for the next quarter. The friendly and comfortable environment quickly made us feel included in the event.

The All Hands meeting began in an entertaining manner with a corporate concert, which likely added a lively and enjoyable atmosphere to the gathering. Following that, there was a case study presentation on Coco Cola. The event then proceeded to an award ceremony where outstanding achievements and contributions from the quarter were recognized. As interns, you were able to witness the accomplishments of your colleagues and gain a deeper understanding of the company's culture of appreciation and celebration.  

BAN2 Tour

BAN-2 PTP office tour is the visit to Adobe's newly constructed building at the PTP office, which bears resemblance to Adobe headquarters in San Francisco. It's exciting that all of us had the opportunity to visit the building even before officially moving in and working there. The tour was organized in a convenient manner, allowing us to select a date that suited our schedule.

To facilitate transportation, shuttle services were arranged from PTC to the PTP office. During the tour, you were guided around the building, allowing us to familiarize ourselves with the layout and features of the new office space. The building demonstrated a higher level of sophistication and standards compared to other Adobe buildings, reflecting the company's commitment to providing a modern and inspiring work environment. The tour has increased our excitement and motivation to begin working in such a dynamic and well-designed setting.

FRIENDS WE MADE

Internship experience brought us together with an incredible group of individuals who became more than just colleagues, they became our friends. Facing the challenges of learning and implementing AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) together provided us with valuable hands-on experience. Ddifficulties with dependencies between the AEM instance and the Eclipse IDE were challenging, but having friends who guided us likely helped us overcome obstacles and find solutions to technical issues. The memories and connections forged during this transformative period will remain cherished as we move forward in our lives and careers.

FOOD AT ADOBE

The food at Adobe is one of the best aspects of the Adobe life experience. Lunch and dinner are served with a wide range of options, including both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes from Indian and continental cuisines. This variety ensures that employees and interns have diverse choices and can cater to their individual preferences. Additionally, the availability of breakfast at reasonable prices further enhances the overall dining experience. The cafeteria at Adobe is a space where you can grab a bite whenever you feel hungry or in need of a quick snack.  Moreover, the presence of pantries on every floor with beverages and refreshments is a thoughtful addition. This allows employees and interns to stay refreshed and rejuvenated throughout their busy day. It promotes a healthy and comfortable work environment by providing easy access to refreshing beverages and snacks.
